Hiking at Ka'ena Point Trail

Cloudy days, wind and light rain... Oahu is not what I was expecting. The sunny days of Hawaiian postcards are not here yet, not at least at the beginning of March.
Waves are not good either, so we opted to take the Ka'ena hike.

Located in the Ka'ena Point State Park on the very western part of Waialua, the hike starts on a dirt road next to the ocean. Watch out for the mudholes!

The hike continues along cliffs beside the ocean. You can follow the road to reach the point, or take alternative routes like Wiki.
I call him the explorer :)

The trail is mostly flat, with amazing ocean views. After 2.5 hours, we arrived in Keawa'ula Beach, where we rest and ate something for half an hour before we turned back.

We walked a total of 10 miles (16 km), plenty of exercise for today!
